Mary Elizabeth Farm School and Pleasant Valley Porter Farm work together to give children meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, grow, and connect with the natural world.

Mary Elizabeth Farm School

Our licensed preschool program has been serving children and families for 17 years. Our nature- and farm-based preschool gives young children the time and space to learn through play, relationships, outdoor exploration, animals, gardens, and the changing seasons.

Pleasant Valley Porter Farm

Our historic family farm is home to our Farm and Forest Programs, school vacation Farm Days, summer camps for children through age 15, and seasonal community events. These limited-day and limited-hour programs are separate from our licensed preschool program and are designed to give children of all ages opportunities to experience real farm life, outdoor adventure, and hands-on learning.
